Airedale Terrier

Number of views (152)

A courageous, intelligent, and confident dog the Airedale Terrier is a protective, loyal pet and fun loving entertainer.  While the Airedale can be good for families with children it can be rough when it plays and is also not a good pet if small pets such as rabbits are owned.  It is recommended that the Airedale be socialized from an early age. The Airedale Terrier's protective instinct makes it a good watchdog.  It is important to keep the Airedale occupied and spend a lot of time in play and exercise as a bored Airedale can be destructive.

The Airedale Terrier has a life expectancy of 10-14 years, reaches a height of 22-24 inches and weighs between 45-70 pounds.  Health problems to keep an eye out for include thyroid and bleeding disorders, vWD, allergies, and hip problems.
