The Economy

Hi,

I was wondering how the economic down turn has affected everyone, specifically their pets.

I am lucky that I have not lost my job, but I have seen my 401k go way down. This hasn't affected how I care for my dog Tootsie Roll, but I've been reading a lot of articles about how animal shelters are being swamped as people get rid of their pets to save money.

This really breaks my heart! It seems like in these troubled times, we need our loving dogs more than ever.

I hope everyone is staying afloat.

Our family is staying afloat. We are watching what we buy for food and our plans are to keep this holiday season simple.

Its a strange world right now for sure but I would like to think we are somewhere through the worst. Makes me wish I was a dog even more lol.
Do they ever get down about anything :)

I just graduated with my master's degree in archaeology but can't find a job. That's why I am a dog sitter now. It's not what I expected for myself. However I have plenty of clients. It seems like people are still taking vacations, luckily for me!
