We have snow! I hooked up Cody to a sled to carry my son and it turns out that he is a master sled dog. Who knew?

I almost lost my dog over the New Year. I forgot that fireworks are alive, legal and popular on New Years eve here. He disappeared while the family was away during the day and he did not come back until the following evening. I am so grateful to have him back after 3am, 8am, etc. searches for our furry son and endless anxiety.

Halloween with our dog and his sidekick. We paraded around our neighborhood and the dog got more love and attention than the kids by a long shot. A woman actually stopped her car, parked, got out then spent the next 5 minutes enticing Cody to lick her. Wow. I’m sure a lot of men are jelous of the “Cody POWER”.

Today I showed up at my vacant rental property to do some maintenance on it – I found 1 rooster, 2 cats, a small child, and a woman – none of whom are known by me! What a surprise. I’m thinking that perhaps a dog and a fence might be a good idea before I start collecting other uninvited people/animals on the property.
