Dogs Unite

I know this is a dog site, but I have to share this. The two feral kittens I rescued were adopted today and I’m feeling a mixture of sadness and happiness. Happiness because I certainly do not need more animals and wanted them to go to go to a good home instead of the life of starvation and disease they were destined for and sadness because we spent so many hours taming them that I had gotten kind of accustomed to their being around. I think the difficult animals – the ones that require the most work – are often the ones one misses the most.
